Connecting your accounts

A professional Instagram account (Business or Creator). Instagram only lets apps post to professional accounts.

1. In the Instagram app, go to your profile and tap More (the three lines).
2. Under “For professionals”, tap “Account type and tools”, then “Switch to professional account”.
3. Pick a category, then Business or Creator. Either works. A private account becomes public when it switches.
4. In Okay Otto’s Accounts, press Connect Instagram, sign in to that account and allow Okay Otto.

A Facebook Page you have access to. Okay Otto posts as the Page, never on your personal profile.

1. To check your access: on Facebook, switch into the Page, then Settings & privacy, Settings, Page setup, Page access.
2. Press Connect a Facebook Page. On Facebook’s screen, choose which Pages Okay Otto may use, then Save.
3. If you manage several Pages, Okay Otto asks which one this brand posts as. One sign-in renews every Page you’ve connected.

A Threads profile. You make one in the Threads app by signing in with your Instagram or Facebook account.

1. If you don’t have a Threads profile yet, open the Threads app and create one.
2. Press Connect Threads, then “Continue as” your profile on Threads’ screen.

The TikTok account this brand should post to.

1. If this browser is signed in to a different TikTok account, log out of it on tiktok.com first. Each TikTok account belongs to one brand.
2. Press Connect TikTok, sign in to the right account, and approve Okay Otto.

A YouTube channel. A Google account alone can watch but not upload.

1. To make a channel: on YouTube, click your profile picture, Settings, “Add or manage channel(s)”, then “Create a channel”.
2. Press Connect YouTube and sign in with the Google account that holds the channel. If the channel uses a Brand Account, choose that account when Google asks.

YouTube’s guide

Your LinkedIn profile. Okay Otto posts as you, on your profile.

1. Press Connect LinkedIn, sign in, and press Allow.
2. LinkedIn’s access lasts 60 days. When it ends, the account shows Reconnect here; connect it again the same way.

A Bluesky account.

1. Press Connect Bluesky. Bluesky’s sign-in opens; sign in and approve Okay Otto.
2. Okay Otto can only create posts and upload their photos and videos. It can’t read your messages or change your profile.
