Beta terms

Last updated November 6, 2026

How the Okay Otto private beta works. They add to our Terms of service and Privacy policy, which apply in full; where they differ, these beta terms win for the beta.

Who gets in

The beta is invite-only and has 20 places. Anyone can apply at okayotto.com/beta; we read every application and choose who joins, so applying doesn't guarantee a place. We email you either way.

An invite belongs to the email address it was sent to: signing in with that address opens your workspace, and signing in with any other address opens nothing. You can bring clients in through sign-off links, and on the Agency plan invite teammates into your workspace. You must be 18 or older.

Free while it runs

The beta costs nothing. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before anything costs money, and nothing will be charged without your agreement. We ask for no payment details during the beta.

Limits

To keep the beta fair and affordable for everyone in it, every beta workspace is on the Pro plan, free: up to 500 posts a day, 50 videos a month (more are counted, never charged, during the beta), 100 AI drafts and checks a day (caption drafts, pre-post checks, first comments, reply suggestions, fixes, profile drafts), 5 sign-off people per brand, and 40 Ask Otto messages a day; each API key or connected AI app can make up to 60 requests a minute. When you reach a daily limit you can still write and post everything yourself, and it resets at midnight UTC. We may add limits on storage or connected accounts; each one is shown in the app when you reach it, and we'll list it here.

What's still unfinished

Okay Otto is being built with you, so features may change, move or be removed, and some things will break. Instagram, Facebook, Threads and TikTok review apps like ours before they open to everyone. Until each finishes, we connect beta testers' accounts on that platform by hand, and TikTok posts go up private until its review is done. Google shows an “unverified app” screen when you turn on YouTube comments and results, until it approves that step.

Keep your own copies of anything you can't lose: photos, videos and captions you upload are stored for posting, not as a backup.

What we ask

Use Okay Otto for real posts, and tell us what breaks, what's missing and what slows you down, with the Feedback button or by email. We may write to you about the beta and ask for a short check-in now and then; answering is up to you.

You allow us to use your feedback to improve Okay Otto without owing you anything for it. We will never name you or quote you publicly without asking first.

Your data

Your data is handled exactly as our Privacy policy says: used only to run Okay Otto for you, never sold, and deleted when you delete your workspace (how).

Your place, and the end of the beta

You can leave whenever you like by deleting your workspace. If a workspace goes unused for a long stretch, we may email to ask whether you still want your place, so it can go to someone on the list.

We may end the beta, or move it to paid plans, with at least 30 days' notice by email. Your work stays yours: you can keep using Okay Otto on the terms we offer then, or delete everything.
